THE NAPTURE June 5th – Save the Date

God spoke to me last night. He told me that the whole Rapture thing was kind of joke he played on that Harold Camping guy. He could not help Himself, He said that Harold guy falls for it every time. He plays Pull MY Finger with him too. Every time, the guy pulls His finger and this has been going on for like sixty years or something like that.
Anyway, God has real plans for His true constituents this coming weekend. On Sunday at noon. It is not so much a Revelations themed moment as it is a quick thirty minute respite of prayer during the day to help you all get ready for Monday.
That is the kind of God I pray to. Compassionate.
And hey, even if you are an atheist, who doesn’t need a nap?
Bring a blankie and a friend!ps: This glorious event can take place in your room, your couch, your hammock, a park bench. Where ever the calm of a nap prevails. See you in your dreams!

do they sell Napture pillows? to avoid getting a crease on my forehead from praying and falling asleep with my head on the the pew in front of me?
@ofunlo - well, there is always a means to make some dough on any glorious event. But this event, I forgot to mention, can take place in your room. It is a private moment between you and your higher conscience. No need for delirious hordes and hangers on.

well, all i can say is that i hope the real rapture doesn’t happen in my lifetime. i don’t think i’m in shape enough yet to dodge falling buildings and meteors, let alone fight devil-like creatures coming to take our souls, ya know?

@ThePrince - I think that Harold Camping guy drinks too many jolt cola’s before he goes to sleep. His dream/God talk time is a little constipated and toxic. Join us in the Napture. We will change the world. Or at least feel better about Monday!

@Roadkill_Spatula - Yes, the Napture is available anywhere that you are. I suggest holding off til you get home, if you snore…just sayin’

@notforprophet - Are space creatures and old school space suits involved? If so, I am in! Can there be surf music too?
During your Napture, the space creatures sneak up on you and Capture!
In order to preserve you on their return trip to Neptune, they zoot you up in a Lost In Space suit they have stolen from an ill-protected Hollywood movie set. Upon reaching Neptune, they force you to listen to infinite repetitions of Debbie Harry’s “Rapture.” They laugh every time she mentions the “Man from Mars.” Everybody knows there is no Man from Mars!

As hot as it is here I think there was a Rapture but none were found worthy so God just made hell on earth for those of us left here.
@vexations - excellent point, Vex. BUT, I think God thinks we are all worthy of a nap. And I have a feeling that everyone who participates in the Napture will be one step closer to kindness to mankind. Which I kind of think is our way into heaven as we believe in it. Hope to see you in my Napture dreams!
