Cut and Paste
I should just cut and paste my facebook status over here to keep you all in my life, huh?
I don’t mean to forsake you, xanga land, I am very busy with this and that going on.
I am very very excited about a cruise to Mexico that some friends and I are taking at the end of March for four days.
Also, a road trip via Route 66 to the Grand Canyon with more friends is in the planning stages set in mid April for an entire week in a rented RV.
If you are looking for trouble, look no further!
Had a mini getaway to the coast last weekend. Three days at Point Reyes. I love that destination. Easy peasy and always a blast.
I think I may actually be dating someone. Maybe. Possibly.
Been hanging out with my terrific girlfriends and their kids.
Have also been walking regularly with said girlfriends. And laughter, lots of that.
Met another wonderful internet but now real life friend!
Got my brother out of my mom’s place.
Work begins soon so that I can get it on the market.
I wanted to post pictures but I am running into some technical difficulties.
Dang…they are actually the best part…

Afraid I have pretty much switched to Facebook, too. Lots of extended family members post comments and pictures of their babies, so how can I resist?! So glad to hear you finally got rid of your brother!!

I am glad the near future looks very good and even full of promises , Cassi . The horizon becomes joyously clearer and i am happy for your Cassi .
I have desactivated my facebook because I put by error because of the sign”partager “( share ) an article that was disagreeing with .on my profil !! I could not suppress it so I suppressed facevbook . More , we find facebook everywhere in other systems and this domination can become dangerous to make the opinion and manipulate us .

Sounds like things are going really well for you! It’s always need to meet an internet friend in person, isn’t it! Glad you’ve enjoyed your recent travels, with more exciting ones to come, I’m sure!

so, how’d you end up getting your brother out of your mom’s house? did he destroy the place?

@ofunlo - I will tell you the dates Johnno. It is mid April. The guy is just a nice guy so far. All digits intact and no drama so far. We shall see what we shall see. I could call you with an actual arrival date for the canyon once Carrie and I get our map dialed in. We are very excited. xxoo

That is so funny. me too… it’s hard to keep both!!!
I find it hard to NOT Bla bla bla on FB and people have told me both I am annoying with my updates and that they enjoy them..
i figger people should just ignore them and scroll past them if they aren’t interested like I do…
i’m too long winded not to have Xanga, at least sometimes, and I find it better to come here because FB is too interactive…. here I can just spew, blow and go….

How I missed this I don’t know but I am so glad you got your brother out and are having great times with friends with plans to get out and travel. Loads of hugs to yo.
Oh, please don’t forsake Xanga. It’s such a better format for the kind of blogging you do. You know you can link your Xanga posts to your Facebook page, thereby satisfying both audiences.
In the meantime, I guess I’ll have to friend you on Facebook.

I am on facebook hiatus. It was taking up my time and I was not writing. So glad you are doing well. I miss you and your writing and your adventures.

I love FB, too, and agree, it is easier, but it just doesn’t have the depth of Xanga. I think they are all affected by these “privacy” things. If Xanga had all those privacy when I started, I wouldn’t have made half the friends I did. Yet, I went and locked up Facebook when I started applying for jobs. I figure they won’t find me here!
@ItzaRoos - I miss blogging but I have computer issues and am unable to load pictures. Which is the best part of my blogs, I think. I think I will get back to blogging once I get my lap top fixed (again!) And xanga editing has changed again, I don’t have he hang of that either. A pain.
So nice to see you back on xanga. Nice choice of roomies also.
