Things I Learned From My Grand Daughter
1. There is no TOO EARLY.
2. Hiccups suck.
3. Drooling is cool.
4. Farting. Burping. Yes!
5. Never fake interesting. Cannot do it.
6. I like you. Or I do not. Simple.
7. FOOD IS GOOD.
8. Do not like cumin…(that is the ONLY taste she has made a face at!)
9. LOVE
When you hang out with a baby you get reminded of the love thing. This is not an intangible thing. It is very is very simple. How did we screw it up so much. It pretty much goes likes this: I trust you . I am glad to see you in the morning.

Two of my favorite things about love! This was a great post Cassie! Your granddaughter is adorable!
A baby makes us better and especially when the baby is called Juniper !! You are both adorable !
This a post of love.
In friendship

Love this!
Cumin is indeed an acquired taste!
Cassi, you are a wonderful Grandma’ma and your Juniper is a clever girl. I loved this blog.
I love this as well, ,my 14th month grandson does all this, plus hanging on to his Mum’s legs as he wants to walk but still will not trust himself to go off on his own
It never ceases to amaze me what great and patientteachers babies and little kids are…..love love love this post, you and sweet little Junbug
Awesomeness.
As to how we screwed up the love thing? We added human beans to the mix. Everything is awesome and wonderful and do-able (even communisim) until you add humans & stir. While I believe that most people are generally good at heart, the fact is that it only takes a few that aren’t to throw a monkey wrench into the cogs & fuck it all up.
Sad, but true.
I’m with Juniper on everything but #8; I like cumin’.
@judyrutrider - me too. So far this is the only thing she made a face about while eating. I am going to mix it with apple or something next time.
I never realised what fun sneezes are until Bradlee taught me
beautiful
Happy Thanksgiving. (a little late I know)
ryc, no shopping for me. Just recovering from my happiness.
tell me how come I am not gettıng your updated blogs on my subs to read I mıssed thıs ??? It ıs so true and your humor ıs goıng to do her heart good- what a gıft to gıve a grandgırl growıng up. xxg
I don’t care so much for cumin either.
@Orlando - you missed the big ranty ravey f word blog. Lucky you. xo
RYC : I was glad to see you salivate in the streets of Rouen,, Cassi . Come in the nearby cafe to have a drink and take again your breath !!

Michel
What a wonderful post. Cheers
you are always special methnks.
ryc, I didn’t have an outside plug either when I lived in Davis but I would run an extension cord through the garage and under the garage door to the outside. One of the heavy duty outdoor extension cords. I know all about cat throw up. The foam kind is the easiest to clean, that’s for sure. A day without cat sick on the carpet is a good day.
@titus_bigglesworth - Esme is polite but pointed. She never vomits on the carpet, only on the fake wood floor where I trod. I will not run an extension cord in front of my already ugly duplex. I have to draw the line somewhere. But I may put out weather proof one foot candy canes dancing along my walk…ack!
….and I believe it is only the beginning of the learning , Cassi . Juniper is a good teacher!
