Happy Easter…
I am actually blogging about my daughters baby shower and posting tons of pictures of my CHILDREN!My cousin Sandy agreed to let me throw Jocelyn’s baby shower at her home in El Dorado. Most of Jocelyn’s friends and many of my long time friends are up the hill. Lots of family too for that matter. Thank you Sandy. She has a big house with beautiful green hill views. She had her place all decorated for Easter. The pastels made for a great decorations for the baby shower.
My cousin’s Sandy and Connie (can you tell they are sisters?)
This is Jocelyn’s third baby shower. She has scored on tons of baby stuff. She is sick of pink though. I knew to buy (almost) nothing pink for this shower.
Look at that cake!
My cousin Connie made the cake. Each block was a different cake with different filling combiantions. It tasted as wonderful as it looks! Thank you Connie! She out did herself! We had a gourmet cheese place (Dedrick’s Cheese) in Placerville do part of the food. Jocelyn cooked all morning preparing the vegetable platters (tempura root vegetable, vegan pot stickers and so much more). The food was wonderful and I do not know why I did not take any photos. Dang!
It turned out to be a reunion of my wonderful and dear up the hill girlfriends that I hardly ever ever see.
My friend Gaye with my cuz Sandy, Chris (on the couch) and my friend Jane, my Volvo Sistah!
Hey! Who chewed their gum???

We played some games.I used most of the same games from the baby shower last week. Kim and I cheated as often as possible.
Little Oona in her ruby slippers and my princess with her crownWe ate some cake.
Things got quiet for a minute…
It was time to open presents!!!
Wonderful hand made items and fun itemsThere was a moment of camera’s going off as Joc and I posed together. My son is having NONE OF THAT!
Then it was the Michael and Jocelyn show…
We don’t take too many things seriously in our family…thank dog…

Your baby girl looks wonderful. Pregnancy agrees with her.

@piqued - we had to sculpt babies out of bubble gum. Only, you are not suppose to chew it first (ooops, someone did…it was not me, I swear!!!). Totally fun game. Thank you. Jocelyn is more beautiful in person. I am so excited! xo Love you Bonnie Boo.
