So much stuff afoot!
I am so busy that I am very remiss in the whole blogging thing. I have been good about updating my facebook though.Let’s see…I shaved my cat…that is not a code for anything!

Miss Esme – BEFORE – picture all of that white hair ALL OVER MY HOUSE
Miss Esme during – see the pile of white hair????

Miss Thing after – behold THE LION CUT! (My son says she looks like one of the animals in Where the Wild Things Are)We have severe hair issues. Hair everywhere, hair balls from her constant self grooming not to mention the poop deal with her hairy ass…enough said. We will both be much happier.

My son is moving back in over here. We shall see how that goes.I have to admit that it has been awesome living by myself. I always have people in and out, but the place to my self has been wonderful.

My friend Joe builds furniture from recycled materials. I asked him to build me a book shelf. I combined three smaller book shelves (plus piles of books on the floor!!!) onto this one book shelf. We measured off a space and perfect shelving heights (don’t you hate when you cannot fit tall books onto the shelves???) I love this shelf. He painted it red and put used shutter doors down the sides. It is awesome!I have been trying to clean out and get rid of stuff. Closets, cabinets, junk. I sold some stuff on craigslist and got rid of stuff for free. I have too much stuff!
Meanwhile, I injured my shoulder and have been in so much pain. I see a chiropractor this week. It has been so terrible. I hate pain. This must stop. I had just started back to housecleaning, and this will not do!
My daughters first baby shower was this weekend! The other grandma put this together. Fantastic turn out. They needed three cars (two suv’s!) to haul all that baby loot home!

Jocelyn is feeling great and more beautiful than ever. EVER!

My friend Kim went with me. This was Daniel’s (baby daddy) side of the fam. There were a few familiar faces.

Hand made baby booties, a very cute family and a silly pregnant pal of Joc’s
And there were games, of course!

Measure Mommy! and we also sculpted baby’s out of a cube of bubble gum

Lots and lots of presents and laughter!

A cupcake connoisseur, a tub full of baby tools, the boys are mystified by all these baby accessories
Olivia, Jocelyn and Becca
These girls are due within weeks and days of each other!Next week is another baby shower that my cousin and I are putting together. I am stealing all the games from this shower so that Kim and I can cheat and win all the prizes!!!! Yesss!!

Hope your shoulder gets better soon. We don’t realize how great things are until we get sick or in pain.
I am glad Miss Esme and her hairy butt are taken care of and tht whole code thing is over.
Joc looks absolutely beautiful and Baby Juniper seems to be coming along nicely! The shower looked like a lot of fun! Love those bubble gum babies!
Hope your arm is better soon Grandma’ma. Sucks to hurt!
love the book shelf!!
What a great pic of the 3 soon to be mommies!!!
fun
Love the bookshelf! I am at the same point of trying to get rid of stuff that isn’t necessary or important to me any longer, but have issues with items received as gifts. Still working through that one! Oh, and I am suffering with an URI vs shoulder pain, but still makes progress challenging.
Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!
Like you, I am fallling behind on the Xanga updating, but check Facebook regularly. Wishing you a blessed and wonderful Easter!
I’m so sorry about your shoulder–glad you are not letting that go.
Joc IS beautiful! I’m glad to see pics of the shower. Looks like it was so much fun. Cute cupcake “cakes.”
Maybe while I’m laid up the next two weeks (surgery today!) I will be able to post a long overdue blog.
Love the lion cut, lol… and Michael’s right about it!
Looks like the shower was loads of fun and laughs. When is the baby set to arrive???
I love your kitty’s haircut! She does look like a “wild thing” too.
Congrats to your daughter and her fabulous pregnant friends.
I hope Miss Esme is adjusting to her new look!!
Congrats to your daughter on the upcoming birth. I’m pleased to hear that her baby shower went so well. I hope the shower next week is just as much fun!
@warweasel - April 25th, so says the doc.
Your posts , Cassi , are perhaps less frequent ;, but they are so much delectable .
Looks at this cat shaved like a sheep with a small tuft at the end of the tail !
Your photo report of the baby shower are beautiful and colorful and express well the fun you all had ;
Yes Jocelyn appears to be in her full splendor .
Does not your son look a bit sad on the picture . I hope all is alright for him .
And I hope your shoulder is doing better . One cannot imagine the pain caused by those injuries in the bones or muscles .
I guess you will have to wait for reaching the books at the top of your new bookshelf.
Thank you Cassi for your always warm comment with touching words .
Love
Michel

OHG how’d ya hurt your shoulder! ouch! I love the bubble gum babies! That cat is funny. You can buy some “hairball” stuff they lick and it helps them pass through smoothly…
