The Alas Alak Alaska US Tour!
My daughter left today for a US tour that will not let her come home until January. Yikes!
She headed out with her band, Alas Alak Alaska, today heading to Santa Barbara for a radio show tonite. Check out her site for her mind blowing itinerary.
She and her band tour together for ten days then once they hit New Mexico, she will be on her own through January. I am aware of shows that take her all the way to New York and back to Missouri through November, the rest of her calendar is a mystery to me. Dang!
My sons band, Woman Year, is heading to Portland tonite, as well, shoot. He has two shows that way.

So, the daughter child stopped by to collect some stuff on her way out of town. I got a couple of snap shots of the fresh road spirited nymphs on their way to their rock and roll lifestyle. I love these kids!
They were mad at me for wanting to take their pictures before they hit the road, in fact Jeanie refused. Yes, that is right, she DENIED me a photo…

As I walked back to my apartment after seeing those kids off, this is the view that put itself before me. Foreboding but with a clear sky just past the fretting. Works for me.
